Hee. I only know the Pinnacle of the Temple because it was referenced very recently...somewhere. And I had to go look it up myself. But basically the Devil took Jesus up to, like, the highest place in Jerusalem at the time (which was said Pinnacle) and told him to jump off, because if he trusted God so much, the angels would catch him. It was about pride, I think? About not having overmuch of it? Or about God not intervening quite like that? Yeah, I don't remember the theory there. The point being that there was some tempting going on, and Jesus didn't fall for it, the end. And I probably know less about Aztec religious symbolism beyond the, you know, snake with feathers business.

Yeah, the actual genetic/theological make-up of the Son of God is one of those things that actually varies from sect to sect, so...yeah. Bah, I totally understand. And the story is fantastic as it is.
