Blogging is so text-intensive — in terms of both reading and writing — that the amount of time required of a blogger makes it unattractive to college students.

I get this way when I read people bitching about Twitter, and totally misunderstanding the concept behind it and why it's so good.

I seriously gaped at that line for five seconds in complete stupefaction. And this woman is supposed to be a blogging expert. Clearly she never ventures out of her own narrow sandbox.

I get the impression that most people just think Twitter is for stuff like "Got pizza", "went to lunch" and nothing else. I get my news on Twitter. It is so much more than that.

People who don't know anything about fandom have no business talking about it as if they did. That is so stupid and immature.
