The First Draft

It's done. The first draft is officially done. Editing and irritating minutiae are still waiting to be finished, but the first draft is done. I am so tied I don't even have the energy to celebrate. I really hope my cousin comes by tomorrow.

Thanks! My brain feels like I put it through a blender. God, I just want to write. Fiction. Proper writing. But my body is so sick of this chair. I think I might go read in the porch just to change the landscape.

Do it! Celebrate being able to leave the room! I'm currently sitting in a chair as opposed to on my bed or the kitchen, which is where I usually have the laptop, and it's different indeed.

Thank you! Heh, the funny thing is that right now the kind of rest I need involved climbing up a mountain until my legs can't take it anymore. I seriously want to be outside. I'm looking at the State Parks page right now to see if there's someplace I can go to. Wisconsin Dells would be wonderful right (wrong state, I don't care).
