8 to 14 inches of snow!!!!!

Reason #7794037308930 why I refuse to live in IL permanently: 8 to 14 inches of snow!!!!! On the day in which I have to absolutely, not even slightly optional have to drive up to Chicago! In 8 to 14 inches of snow! Aaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!! *throws things* Why am I not in PR? Why? What am I doing in this frozen wasteland? Summer. I need summer. Now. *weeps*

To complement the demented occasion, I'm reposting a video from [livejournal.com profile] rampant_chaos8, although Baltimore seems to have gotten it worse.

Oh dear, I'm really sorry you're going to have to deal with that, and I wish you the best of luck. I guess just drive as carefully as you can, and if you really feel unsafe, don't go. Or leave before the snow starts. Seriously. I don't know what you've got going on, but I'd be awfully surprised if it was worth dying over.

Anyway, yeah, I've never seen a weatherman snap like that before. Was that supposed to be a parody? Oh and hey, guess what. Weather.com is calling for andother 10 to 20 inches Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Wheeeee...

It's a filmmaker meetup where they are going to decide who is going to be in this years film projects and no one knows me there since I couldn't make the last meetup because my body decided to kill me. I just really, really need a break right now and to get working on a project now. I'm honestly surprised they haven't postponed this. Then again, it's Chicago where a tornado needs to already be on top of you before someone blinks. And the temperatures aren't dipping anywhere near 0°. We're really getting off easy considering. I am so not kidding. And if I were talking to a Canadian, I wouldn't dare complain at all. I really need to move somewhere with reasonable weather. I'll just see what the sky looks like tomorrow. And now The Weather Channel is only giving 3 to 5 inches. If it's that, it's not so bad. *sarcasm* *head desk so hard*

I have no idea. I can't imagine seeing a weatherman do that, though they may have wanted to.
