Smut meme

Written by myself at [livejournal.com profile] visiblemarket's suggestion because I like avoiding work even though it's bad for my health, but I no longer have to read an atricle that I was supposed to read for tomorrow because it's not online. I should be doing research, though. I'm stealing the directions from the latest fanfic cliches meme because I'm lazy.

Smut cliché meme: Bold those you've written and italize those you've considered.

Drunk!fic: I did finish a draft for this in the Hagaren fandom, but never revised it.
Bondage: Oh, yeah. I love this one, though I never use handcuffs because I don't like them.
BDSM: Not really, no. Okay, maybe yes. I have a few fics that some people would probably consider fall into the range, but I wouldn't call them that.
Stuck incommunicado in a secluded place: Nope. This one is too cliched for me.
Huddling for warmth: No, though I know I considered it in my early days of writing.
Sex as punishment: Yep. Most recently in Plaude.
Two characters played by the same actor: I did a Sands/Corso thing years ago that never got off my notebook and onto my laptop. And of course, you guys have seen the Sark/Adam stuff popping up here.
Threesome: Ando/Hiro/Adam. My OT3.
Virgin: I've done this a few times, never as a special thing, but as a detail.
Stockholm Syndrome: No.
Food: Sex and food don't mix for me. At all.
Birthday!sex: I've probably considered it, but never done it.
Phone!sex: Yup. Did it once for Roy/Maes and it was hilarious. Some of the most fun I've had writing.
Fantasy: I've done this at least once for a Ron/Draco fic.
Shapeshifter/pretending that the other person is someone else: Did the second once oh so long ago that's it's probably crap. LOTR, the second fandom I wrote in.
Mythical creature: I made Ragetti (POTC) a merman once.
First time: I always like to do at least one of these per pairing.
Comfort!sex: No, don't think so.
Cross-dressing: I'm not sure if I should count Kitten (Breakfast on Pluto, because she is a woman stuck in a man's body, but sure. She was fun. That counts in the same actor category, too.

It's Thursday, three days after the snow panic and the Tube still has lines partly closed. The hell? Come on, people. It melted already. Get with it!

I went on a Cillian movie binge (as I often do with actors I love) and watched a bunch of his Irish ones. Good stuff. peter is starting to lose that innocence, I'm afraid, though he's still so naive. And I love how Kitten gets a happy ending in the movie. In the book... not so much. Pussy (the book character) is actually a lot more bitter.

Heh, I've done that with John Cusack and...well, mostly just John Cusack and CE. And also Jon Stewart but he's got like four movies and it doesn't really count. I understand why he has to, but it's still sad. Poor Peter. Heh, what I love about Breakfast on Pluto is how...happy it makes me feel, at the end. It's the weirdest feel-good movie ever. I'm not surprised that the book is darker, though.

It's making me sad as I write the epic. *sniff* Why can't the character I write be happy? It does leave you with this light feeling, which is so nice after reading the book, cause, wow, it's intense. Although some of the most more disturbing scenes (the beating at the police station, the strangling in the car) make it into the movie. But her father is a real asshole in the book. The movie was Patrick McCabe way of giving Pussy/Kitten a happy ending, because the ending in the book depressed him and he didn't want to leave it like that.

Alas, I must go to bed. Class tomorrow.

Ohh, Peter, what are we going to do with him? I don't think he'll get any kind of lasting happiness until the series ends, honestly. Gah, I don't think I'll really be able to read the book if that's the case. Poor Kitten.

Good night, and good luck!
