I went back to Camden Town. *head desk* I bought stuff. *head desk again* It was cheaper stuff this time around, though. And I finally got that fancy jacket out of my head. The sleeves are just too flouncy. But then there's this other one...

Thanks to an invite from a lovely girl over at perfect_duet, I got a Dreamwidth account. I have no idea if I'll do much with it since LJ is my home on the internet, but I have the opportunity arose, I like reserving my name on networks, I'm an internet addict, yatta yatta yatta. Now I just need to put in it. At some point.

Now off to read fiction, because it's been too long and I'm actually getting withdrawal and that's not fun.

I have no idea. I opened an Insanejournal account during the craze, but it was a "just in case, whatever" kind of thing. I've never used it. With this one, I'm still getting stuff together since I'm busy with exams, so I don't know yet. I'm importing my LJ onto it, though, so at least it works as a backup.

I did see it, but I'm not enthusiastic about it. At least not the second part. It is great animation, I give it that, but I don't like what they did with the storyline.

You mean that it's not 100% faithful to the manga's?

Well, one wouldn't expect it to be 100% faithful, but some of the changes, especially regarding the characterization of some people (Al), I don't like. I think Father is a much, much better villain than the one in the anime and I don't appreciate them making me feel sorry for Lust, who I hate in the manga. They really transformed her into an entirely different character. I often have fights with my friends (saw the anime, haven't read the manga) because they love her and don't understand where I'm coming from. I just liek the manga much more.

Oh. A new one? That's news to me. I've been a little out of it lately with the studying and such (just 2 more weeks and exams are over). Are they starting from scratch, then?

There's a new anime, (at least intended to be) faithful to the manga, 5 episodes were aired sofar. The homunculi are themselves, Envy showed up in the latest episode and he's very pretty and in character, and so is Kimbly ( from the bits you see him).

Uh, no. Politics seems to have taken an uncomfortable precedence lately over fun things.

Cool. I shall watch as soon as I'm next on break, then. Official break. I take a discomfiting amount of tiny breaks I shouldn't be taking, though.
