I've been gone for a while , haven't I? Stuff has happened. Mostly fun stuff. Except for this last week, which I've spent in this room huddled under the blankets wishing I were back in PR because it's damn cold here and it's ridiculous that 30s temperatures are considered a heat wave. Anyway, I've decided to grab that meme that's been running around and try to narrow down my favourites into top fives. Sorry, I know you're supposed to pick one but I cannot and never have been able to pick one favourite of anything. And I feel pretty crummy about the first one:

Because I have no favorite song. I don't. It just hasn't happened. There's a lot of songs I really like, of course, but they mostly tend to be in Spanish for some reason. I'm going to post a couple by La India and Olga Tañon anyway. By the way, they're both about backstabbing ex-boyfriends. I've always been drawn to songs with this theme since I was little and not even old enough to know what that sex thing was. I do not know. I was screwed over by some guy in a past life, I know it.

*laughs* So many songs in Spanish (especially Mexican ones, in my experience) are all about people getting screwed over by their loved ones. I don't know why it's such a compelling genre, but boy is it.
