I knew I shouldn’t have seen a football (soccer, but I call it football) movie. Now I'm all giddy for the World Cup to start and it's five full weeks away! It doesn't help that the movie was precisely about people scrambling about trying to watch the final of the World Cup. I have more energy now than I've had all day.

Iron Man 2 tomorrow! I need me some Robert Downey Jr. therapy. My cousin actually put makeup on this man. No, I am not kidding. Her website left me completely shell-shocked. And according to her sister, she doesn't know who half these people are. I really, really wish I knew about makeup right now but I don't even know what color of eyeliner looks good on me.

Which football movie was it? Was it the one with Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal? 'cause I always wanted to see that one. ETA: And clearly it probably was not that one. But still. Football movies!

I watched Rudo y Cursi last year in Mexico. I thought it was okay, but not great. The characters put me off a bit, but you are supposed to disagree with what they were doing, so it's more my tastes, I think. Oh, and GGB cannot sing. But that was supposed to be joke.

It was El Gran Final, a Spanish movie set in the Amazon jungle, Mongolia, and the Sahara in which three groups of people desperately struggle with technology to see the match between Brazil and Germany. It's very amusing.
