Because this works so well. Heroes seems made for X-Men crossovers, particularly now with First Class's mutant search taking place when all those Company members were young, but Linderman! With his canonical healing of spinal cord injuries with a handshake, it fits so perfectly I'm surprised no one's tried it before.
I'm kind of glad they haven't, because that way I got to read yours first, and yours is just lovely.
