Title: Dust to Dust (Ch. 2)
Rating: PG
Pairing: Adam/Hiro, Hiro/Ando
Previous parts: Prologue, Chapter 1
Summary: He’d steeled himself to feel nothing when Hiro next crossed his path, weeding any softness or affection out of his heart, but how could such a thing be possible? Wasn’t Hiro what he’d always wanted?
Disclaimer: I own nothing but my own words.

Stupid Hiro and his stupid sidekick and this stupid dirt that kept insisting on falling on him as if he suddenly started generating some freakish gravitational pull even though he shaved soil right from the top of the mountain those two had left for him. )

I can't take it anymore. Reading slightly different versions of the exact same thing is boring me out of my skull. Why didn't I go with the Independence question? Why?

I'm so sorry I've taken so long in getting this out, but as you probably know by now, these essays are evil and have taken over my life.

Title: Dust to Dust (Chap. 1)
Rating: PG
Pairing: Adam/Hiro, Hiro/Ando
Previous part: Prologue
Summary: This continues from Truthful Friends where Hiro and Ando take Adam out of the coffin, so the first part of this chapter is the same as that, but then I took it in another direction.
There was no dissuading Hiro once he’d set his mind on a task, especially if it involved saving the world, even if his soul was crumbling inside.

“Well, well. Look who’s following in his father’s footsteps.” )

Finally, here it is, except that it's really only the prologue and I can make no promises as to when I'll have the next part up because I just started writing it and I have a load of research to do (really bad timing). But I promised to get this out yesterday and it's been a while, so here it is. Now I must go to bed. Because it's nearly four in the morning (I just came from the pub).

Title: Dust to Dust-Prologue
Rating: PG
Pairing: shade of Adam/Hiro
Summary: It can't properly be determined exactly how much the small pile of ashes that had once been the immortal Adam Monroe experienced after being so ignominiously dispatched or even what thoughts, if any, passed through his crushed mind.

A snarky complaint would no doubt arise from the fact that instead of being placed in a lovely, polished urn... he'd been dumped into a rubbish bag. )

Title: To Drink or Not to Drink
Pairing: hint of Hiro/Kensei
Rating: G
Summary: Just a little thing I wrote a looong time ago and am finally getting off the hard drive. A couple of you will recognize it. ;) An alternate ending to that scene in 2x2 when Hiro asks Kensei to stop drinking. Kensei finds it just a tad funny.

What do you mean 'stop drinking'?  )

Title: Truthful Friends
Pairings: Adam/Hiro, Ando/Hiro if you squint
Summary: Basically, I couldn't wait until next week for the rest of that Adam scene. I just couldn't. So I wrote a continuation to it. Adam probes the new wounds arising in Hiro and Ando's friendship.
Rating: PG

Title: The Other
Pairing: Kensei/Hiro, Adam/Hiro
Rating: PG-13
Summary: A mortal injury, an accidental teleportation, and an encounter with his own self. He doesn’t know. He’s from the younger days, the happy days that are now no more than a murmur from a blessed memory that I sometimes question the veracity of.
AN 1: This is the second part of a story showing the same scene from two points of view. This is Adam's. The first part is here
AN 2: Title shamelessly stolen from Jorge Luis Borges's story "The Other", which deals with the same theme. The quote within comes from Luis de Góngora's sonnet CLXVI.

Title: Crimson Sunset
Word Count: 1985
Pairing: Adam/Hiro, Adam/Ando, Hiro/Ando implied
Rating: This part PG-13. It will go up later on.
Description: This is the last part of what turned out to be a series. The order goes: Screaming into the Wind,
Discovery,
Meeting.
I started this to satisfy a request over at [livejournal.com profile] hiro_ando for Adam to take revenge on Ando. It grew a bit beyond that and is now a series of interconnected pieces of Adam’s ruminations about Hiro and his existence. I’m not sure how many parts it will have, probably four or five. Most is already written.

I was heavily influenced by Jorge Luis Borges's notions of time. The quote is from his short story “The Immortal”, translated by me.
Disclaimer: I own noting but my own words.

There are those who search for immortality as if it were the original sin. )
Summary: Hiro goes back to change history and actually gets it right this time.
AN: I got this idea from a comment [livejournal.com profile] likeahobbit made in her journal about the latest episode. Most of it is quite silly. I threw in a line from The Princess Bride because I couldn't resist. It starts right during that scene in “Out of Time” after Hiro teleported Yaeko out of the battlefield.
