Summary: 100 word drabble. Adam cannot die.

Adam cannot die. He's tried, out of frustration, anger, despair. He's stabbed and shot and thrown himself from the highest cliffs on the globe. He's broken bones he never knew existed, cut off limbs, watched his blood spray out in a crimson arc until he collapses to his knees and his sight grows dark. He's even managed to get himself struck by lighting, 30 million volts of white heat blasting through his petrified body. Beneath the ashes, new skin blooms, blood vessels knit themselves back into serpentine webs and his soul screams inside its inviolable cage. Adam can’t die. Ever.
