Heroes, essays, ficciness

I've had the "Epiphany" track from Sweeney Todd stuck in my head for the past five hours. It's driving me just this shade of nuts. I love that movie, but really.

The sore throat went away, but now I have that itchiness at the back of my throat that makes me want to cough constantly. The nose seems to be behaving itself, oddly enough. *knocks on wood*

I'm back on the grin essay wise, since I have two essays due a week after I get back from Puerto Rico and I have three weeks before I leave. However, I'm going to take it easy this time, because I refuse to get back to that "no time for anything ever" pace again right now, and I also have three+ weeks of holidays. So I'm going to go through sources and do as much research as I can right now, take a mountain of photocopies, and take advantage of the fact that many of the sources that I'm going to use for one of them I'll also use for my dissertation, since I also need to start working on that. I still need to narrow down the topic, but it's cool. Most people don't have more than a general idea right now.
