I didn't know until recently that we could get tornadoes in Puerto Rico. I'm not sure how to feel about that, since tornadoes are one of the things that most terrify me. However, they don't seem to be a common occurence and affect mainly coastal areas since they form over the ocean. And I don't live anywhere near the ocean so there really isn't anything to worry about.

I really need to take a local meteorology class. I feel lost not knowing how the local weather works.
