Estrogen supposed reason why women are better with colds
*raises hand* Not only does this woman's system not respond to any cold meds other than Actifed (the real Actifed, not that shite they came out with recently that might as well be sugar pills) or prescription cough syrup (and even that is not so great anymore, but I have always taken two whole weeks to recover from a cold. and I am a total wimp when it comes to colds. If I have a cold, you will know within the first 30 seconds. On the other hand, once I'm acclimated to a place, it is very difficult for me to get one. My usual is one a year, if not less.
But that last paragraph annoys the hell out of me. The technicality that my body is biologically able to produce "offspring" (something it shall never, ever do, is not what makes me important comparable to men. Get your breeder mentality away from me.
I swear I felt fine before reading that thing.
