I know, I know. Half my family would probably just stare at me and say, "So?" but I'm from Puerto Rico. We don't have deer where I'm from. It's like squirrels And despite having lived here for over three years a while back, I'd never seen deer before. There were three little ones! They were cute!

Fringe starts next week! *bounces* I've been waiting for this show to start for ages. I'm also looking forward to Modern Family, because even though it's about kid having families, the preview made me laugh.

I'm learning html! Finally! I've been wanting to learn for years but never had time (of course, now I realize that for most of my undergraduate life, I did have time, but I needed graduate school to realize that; it's that bad). I'm on my way to designing my own website! Plus it's one of those "real life skills" or whatever that I can put on a CV. Next up, I need to learn how to handle Photoshop.

I finally sent the thesis today! It's gone! Now it just needs to get there. But it's gone!

Congratulations! Both on the thesis-mailing and the deer! My house is in the suburbs, but we're close enough to a big part that we once had a deer show up, in the very early morning, in our backyard. My dog was going crazy.

Wow. That is so awesome. The coolest animal I've seen in my lawn is a 3 foot iguana (in PR, not here). I saw the deer at my community college, which is in the suburbs, but they're got a little natural area on campus. I am so going again.

They're really beautiful animals, and the fawns are adorable, but they're pretty destructive to gardens. I don't care much, because we don't really grow anything, but people do get upset.

Deer are cool. I was over my friend's house a while back, and she lives way out in the boonies and a handful of deer came right into her backyard. We sat on her porch peeling corncobs and watching them watch us. Her dog went berserk.

Oooh Fringe. I've really gotta make a list of shows I want to watch, so I don't forget any.

You know, all the stuff we do on livejournal (http://www.livejournal.com/) is html. So you definitely know some.

Hee hee! I got a little a nervous when there were five of them staring at single me, but soon they started munching grass, so I guessed they'd given me permission to snoop.

It is awesome! Watch it!

That is

true.

It's pretty neat stuff.
