I'm sitting in the living room right now half listening to a telenovela playing on tv and I can't help laughing. Oh god, the melodrama! With the over the top music thundering every time someone says, "I don't love you" or "You are going to pay." So why am I getting the urge to start watching these things again? Oh yes, because my cousin (male, by the way) keeps going on about them.

It appears that the modem and the router just don't like each other. It's supposed to work according to my nephew, his girlfriend and another friend, all computer science majors. It just isn't. Great.

I just bought another m/m novel. I am so disappointed in myself. I said I was under no circumstances going to buy any more novels until I made a dent into my unread novels pile all I need is to read some slash and all my discipline goes flying out the window. In my defensa, it was only five dollars.

Is it Monday yet? It's so nice to be able to safely look forward to Heroes again. Now watch. Because I said that, the next episode is going to suck.

Hee. Which new m/m novel did you buy? I'm still trying to work through one I bought like a week ago. Which just shows how busy I am because I tend to finish them the day I buy them.

Also, yee, Heroes! I have a feeling other people aren't liking it as much, but I'm enjoying how things are going. And looking forward to new episodes. I should probably be more cautious as to not get my heart broken, but you know.

Actually, it was two. After posting I bought another one. *shakes head* I got Winds of Change (http://www.amazon.com/Winds-Change-Lee-Rowan/dp/0979777348/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1254538097&sr=8-5) by Lee Rowan and Zero at the Bone (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1935192809/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance) by Jane Seville. The former is the second of a series, but it was cheap, while the second one was not so cheap, but it was recommended by someone and after reading some of the reviews I really want to read it. Darn weakness. You finish books on the same day? Wow. Granted, I might have finished tis last one yesterday if I'd started it firist thing, but there was writing to do. Which I completely forgot about later.

Me too! I also spend an awful lot of time perving over Peter and his paramedic uniform. But I'm liking all the new people so far (not sure about Gretchen yet, though, she was acting really push last time), which is odd. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much for the same reason, but I really hope it stays good.

Oooh, "Zero at the Bone" looks good. I saw Faith and Fidelity (http://www.amazon.com/Faith-Fidelity-Tere-Michaels/dp/1596328363/ref=pd_sim_b_3) recommended on the page for it and I just have to put in a good word, because it's fantastic as well. Not to encourage you to buy more or anything ;)

Yeah, I think Peter and his paramedic uniform is at least putting me in a much more charitable mood than I usually am. Mmm. He's so dreamy, I can't stand it. Also so sad, and that makes me sad, but the pretty...is very pretty.

Yeah, because recommending a book to me is so going to help me not buy it. Especially since I already had that book recommended to me by someone, so that's two people urging me on. I don't stand a chance.

Everything looks better with paramedic!Peter. Even if he does break my heart. *sniff* And what it makes it even more messed up is that he finally did what Claude told him to do. Sever connections, depend only on himself because people will betray you. Though I think he'd be crushed to at seeing Peter like this. He's Peter. He's not meant to be alone. Oh, our poor empath.

Mwhahah. There's also the Adrien English mysteries, but you can probably skip those, they're not as good. I think the Faith and Fidelity author had another really good one, about a cop and a screenwriter. Not that you'd be interested in that ;)

He's just so pretty, I can't blame Hesam for so obviously perving on him in whatever episode that was. And damn, now you've reminded me to go edit that one. Yeah, I can't help think that if Claude came back now he wouldn't be exactly thrilled with who Peter's turned into. It'd break his heart, too.

Hee, I remember seeing a couple telenovelas in Spanish class. Like Bollywood, they are an explosion of culture.

Ick, why can't computer components just get along? I know this advice is probably as bad as it sounds, but have you tried turning your computer on and off? Maybe they just need to get better acquainted.

Oh dude, Zero to the Bone- want. Why is it so dang expensive?

They're insane. Totally unreal and high strung. Yet so addictive.

*sinks into despairing laughter* Everything has been turned on and off. The problem isn't the computers. They connect just fine with the router. The router is the one that doesn't connect with the modem, which works just fine as well. It simply doesn't feel like working.

I know. I was grimacing as I pressed the BUY button. My maximum price for novels is $10, not $19.

I hope so, too. I really don't want to be dissapointed in this show again.

Oh god, there goes the research out the window. Not really, but... yeah. Then again, by reading novels one learns how to write one, so ha! Perfectly justified and indirectly constructive fun.

So very pretty. How can Hesam help himself when he's so very pretty. Oh, Claude, why did you leave? See what happens when you leave? Whahh!

*laughs* I am so evil, aren't I? I should be ashamed. But you're right, reading a lot helps you as a writer. So I feel no shame at all! I'm really helping you write.

It's a little strange that I find him so much more attractive now that he's always so sad. I'm not sure what that means about me. But Claude really does need to clean up his act and come back to help him out.

Argh, that might be true. Man, I hate this stuff. And it did take us forever to get a router working with the old modem, too. We went through three routers in one day.

Well, most of the big ones do get in that range, but they're pushing it. I'm still wincing. It better be as good as they say.

Why? I gaped at the screen the first time I read that he was gone again. He just came back!

Hopefully the modem won't end up being faulty, but I think either way it wouldbe be a good idea to go to the store and tell them what the problem is. They do have a vested interest in their merchandise working properly.

You'll have to let me know how it is. My stack of un-read books hasn't magically gotten any shorter, but...

I know, I know. It's just not fair. Well, here's hoping he left some of his characterization skillz behind this time.
