Today

I had a phone interview for a photography internship. I have no idea how that went since a) my phone hates me, b) I can never understand people on the phone, c) he was an intern himself so my answers to the formulaic questions have to go through his superiors before they'll consider me for an in person interview. *sigh* I was expecting a yes or no answer today, so that's irritating. So I still don't know exactly what my availability is for the film festival I'm volunteering at the end of this month. I'm also going to call the local public tv station to volunteer there. And I'm registering as an extra, something which would actually give me money. I just feel really frustrated right now for some reason, which is completely irrational. Probably because I haven't gone out since Saturday.

The writing is sluggish, thanks to my muse sneaking off to dimensions unknown, but I strive.

I started watching Being Human, so now that's six shows I'm watching. Ooh, V is on today. Must remember that.

Aw, sorry the phone interview was unsatisfying. But, well, at least it was an intern you were talking to, and not the bosses themselves. You can be your effervescent self at the face-to-face interview.

Good job registering as an extra! It's something else to put on your resume, as well as a bit of money.

Being Human.. I started watching that. Was totally intending to keep watching it. I just... stopped being able to work up the effort. Anyway, good show.

It might have gone ok. I'm not sure. I just kept stuttering so much, partly because I had no visual cues, so I kept getting more nervous. Oh well.

I've just seen the first episode so far, but was pretty impressed by it. Some of the vampire plot cliches were getting to me, but I liked Mitchel's character a lot. And the werewolf is so adorable with his girly shrieks and skittishness.

Well, then I'd be even more glad I talked to an intern. If he's kind, he'll understand the nervousness even better and adjust for it. So, fingers crossed, anyway.

The pilot episode? You know they changed the actors for Mitchell and Annie after the pilot. From what I saw, their replacements are pretty excellent, but I hope you didn't get too attached to them. George is still the same adorable nervous werewolf, though.

Actually, it was the second one then. The download site I use doesn't have the pilot so I missed that one. I just saw half of it, though, before Megavideo shorted out like it always does. I'm liking both Mitchells equally so far. I haven't seen enough of the old Annie to give an opinion on that, though.
