Victory of the Daleks (http://www.megavideo.com/?v=J90CDN9C). I usually go here (http://www.sidereel.com/Doctor_Who_%282005%29), by the way. They're good at having the episodes up by the next day, at least.
It was okay. I'm not very enthused. It's just... the Dalek's slip through time at the last minute again and the Doctor keeps saying he's going to defeat them once and for all again, unaware that the powers that be are never going to let that happen. And I'm not sure about these multi-colored Daleks. It's too goofy. Alright, the Daleks are kinda goofy to begin with. And Winston Churchill was driving me nuts. Winston, you're an intelligent man. I know you are. And you clearly know who the Doctor is. None of that "why should I listen to you" stuff coming from you? So if the Doctor tells you that the Dalek's are evil, why don't you listen to him?!
The Dalek beating was good. Not that the wrench was going to do much damage, but considering what the Dalek's have done to him, he would be that pissed off, even in this new, calmer form.
The episode itself was probably my least favorite of the season thus far. For the same reason, really: the Daleks are just not that interesting as villains anymore. I sort of see the Churchill not listening to the Doctor in terms of Harriet Jones and her refusal to just depend on the Doctor for things; the Doctor wasn't there, Churchill had to make a choice, and he couldn't let that be undermined by the Doctor once he finally decided to show up. Plus you have to remember that Churchill has no way of knowing what we do about the Daleks, or even what we do about the Doctor, at least not to the degree that we do know about the Doctor.
But it was fun seeing him beat it up. And I kind of found the original Dalek with its ammo belt and tea tray adorable.
