I keep watching the Machete illegal trailer over and over again cause it's so damn funny and all around awesome."We didn't cross the border! The border crossed us!" Historically, I would argue that that's true. Yet I always think of the poor natives who got screwed by both countries.

I'm having the goofiest thoughts right now about monsters and old style animatronics attacking Arizona. My brain feels like putty right now. It's not my fault! I just watched David Tennant be the goofiest Hamlet I've ever seen (alright, so technically I have never seen Hamlet before, but I read it).

I should probably lie down again and keep reading my Directing book. But I really need to write something. But the scene I'm at right now is so fraught with UST and resentful tension and I feel so darn goofy.

ETA: Puerto Rico has a 40% tax incentive! never mind that the government has no money. Now I want to film a feature there as soon as I finish writing it

*laughs* I had to watch it again after you posted it. I love that subtle little moment where he opens his jacket and all the machetes are in there and he looks like an eagle. It's awesome.
