A dog at some neighbor's house keep whimpering. It's making me sad, because I can't do anything about it. It reminds me of last night when I scared my cousin's cat. I didn't mean to! I was going up and down the stairs for exercise and when I started pacing around the house to cool down, he kept running away from me. I had to sit down in front of him and slowly approach and let him sniff me so he could recognize me as non-threatening again. Poor guy.

Ricky Gervais has a petition for banning bullfighting in Catalonia. The government is going to vote on this soon and many parties are favorable to banning it. Yes! I hear the Canary Islands banned it almost two decades ago, which makes me so proud since most of my mom's ancestors came from there. I'm still waiting for the day when this horrible practice dies out in Mexico, though I honestly don't see it happening, since every born Mexican in my family loves it. They forced me to go to one of these once and I hated it so much. I do not understand.

Meanwhile, I'm reading fantasy novels instead of doing productive things that really need doing. Like, really. Really. So not good.

I signed the petition. I'm glad to see steps are being taken to end that practice. I've never understood why so many support it. It's... without point or mercy.

Yay! That practice drives me insane. It's so cruel. It's like bear baiting and all those other "games" they did with animals centuries ago that would churn anyone's stomach, yet for some reason, this one remained. I don't know.

But I need to work! I'm filming tomorrow and haven't read the very tiny screenplay. And then I have to work on my own screenplay. But I'm so hooked! Ahhh!

Aw, poor dog. :( Ha, cats are so jumpy sometimes. I have foster kittens in my room right now, and the mom is feral, so anytime I come near her she freaks out and runs under the bed. I wish she could understand I'm not trying to hurt her or anything... :/

I signed the petition. I hate bullfighting, though I've never seen it irl. I'm gonna post this on my journal too. Thanks for mentioning it.

Ha, I'd always rather read fantasy books than do work. :P Good luck with that.

This particular cat is the only one I know that doesn't either run and hide or attacks you. He's very social. After inspecting you, he rubs up against you, demands attention, he likes dogs, meows the instant you take food out. He's almost doglike in many ways. But he is so skittish. I love him.

Yay!

But it's taking over my life! I'm ignoring so many important things to read this book. And there are ten more! 600 to 950 pages long! Ahhh!
