I don't know about anyone else, but that's a big number for me. Really big number. Although I have been averaging 1,500 lately since I started working on this fic a week ago, mostly because of all the dialogue and because [livejournal.com profile] visiblemarket has been prodding me. I feel so tired yet happy at the same time and considerably less stressed than half an hour ago. I may hopefully *begs some higher power* get the first draft done tomorrow. I wasn't even supposed to be writing this, but [livejournal.com profile] visiblemarket insisted so much and Claude refused to shut up (I have been repressing the urge to write Claude for months, that might have something to do with it). As soon as I finish this, I'm going back to the stuff that's waiting in the hard drive, which is quite a lot. Yes, everything I've mentioned is still active, I just have to get to it.

The fic is Claude/Adam, if you hadn't guessed already. ;)

Wow, congrats! Yea, I almost never write that much in a day - most of my chapters are 2,000-4,000 words, and they take me weeks to write (mostly coz I'm lazy). Claude/Adam? *ponders* I never would have thought of that. Huh. Have fun with it :)

Thanks! I remember when it took me that long to write anything, but thankfully I learned to pick up my speed (though I'm still woefully slow according to a professional's standards). My daily minimum now is 1,000 words, though I need to write more than that to feel responsible.

I didn't consider Claude/Adam until I found a small barely slashy drabble a while back, but though I was very interested, I couldn't figure out how to do it. Then [livejournal.com profile] visiblemarket wrote another drabble and she urged me to write some and boom! Huge bunny came out. I really don't know how that happened. But it is lots of fun, nowhere near as troublesome as most fics this size.
