I really have to go to bed now, so I'll talk more about it later (I've been awake for two days straight) but I just wanted to make one observation. Apparently, the bathroom here is coed. My floor is girls only, but they're having a party across the hall and there are guys going to be bathroom here. Which is weird. And I'm not entirely comfortable with, especially because the showers are right there, too. But apparently it's perfectly normal over here.

I'd also forgotten how noisy dorms are. Sound carries, you know.

*snort* Giant pillow. Very accurate, that. I slept till 10:30 after going to bed at ten. I was so tired.

I know!! I went walking around all afternoon yesterday.

No, I requested a single room. I already had roommates my first year of college and I'm not doing it again. I find it very troublesome to live in the same room with someone else.

Well, simple talking doesn't wake me up, unless maybe you're in the same room, so the challenge is mainly falling asleep, which isn't difficult (usually) when I'm as tired as I was. But its quiet in the mornings, at least the part I'm awake in. The noisy chatter is mainly at night. And there's the fire alarm every Friday morning at 9;30, apparently. Not a fire drill, just the alarm, but I have a class at ten that day, so it won't wake me up.
