I'm so pissed off right now

First of all, I wasn't in a good mood to begin with due to a cold, atrociously aching hips, and cramps. Oh, and it's actually nice outside (save for a lack of sun), but I can't go anywhere because I can barely walk. I also want to go back to my room, my proper room, not here, and I hadn't noticed that I've had some anger accumulating for the past days until now when I punched the table when the ep wouldn't load. Then it did load. And 95% of it was some of the stupidest drivel I have ever seen on television.

It's badfic on TV. The whole future sequence? Hate it. I hate Claire, I think the notion of Sylar as a dad is laughable, I'd rather not even think about the rest of it. The only part I liked was the Ando/Hiro scenes. Loved those. Mega points to Ando for not letting Hiro trample him, for he's acting like such a twat. I glad that he finally apologized. Then I spent the whole episode excepting Adam to pop up, but see, what I wanted, needed, was an actual scene, not a little cameo at the tail end because I hate being teased. Hate it. Either give me something substantial or don't bother. I've been almost literally going nuts over this (I haven't been in the best mental health lately) and now I have to wait another whole week to get what I want? Haven't they waited long enough?

I honestly don't know if I should bother trying to write my emotions down. Everything's too muddled with everything else. I just need to write my own people. At least I don't depend on anyone else for those. Then again, there's the slight problem where I have no real plot. And readers want plot, don't they?

ETA: Interestingly enough, Mohinder didn't bug me this time. Odd. I just found his situation kinda sad.

Also: Why the hell didn't the Peters turn invisible while they walked down the street?! They wouldn't have been spotted then, now would they?

Ugh, I did the same thing! I suspect they were going for an 'omg surprise!' type thing but there was really no need to do that since DA's name was in the opening credits. At least we should get lots of him next week.

I hated the future stuff as well. The whole thing with Sylar was just....really, really fucking stupid. I think that Peter shouldn't do any more time traveling because the futures he visits are stupid as hell. If they *must* do the time traveling thing I'd much rather see Hiro do it, seeing how it was HIS POWER TO BEGIN WITH. I can't stand Peter. I think he sucks the life out of the entire show and Claire is starting to do the exact same thing.

I insist on still liking Peter. I realize this is an unpopular opinion in my flist, but I'm sticking with it. Mohinder, on the other hand...

I think I've just decided to come around to the fact that I'm watching a completely different show than Heroes S1. I mean...the characters have entirely new motivations. The tone is different. The pacing is just...kind of nuts. But there are still moments I like and those, at least in this episode, counterbalance the moments I completely hated, and once I give up on hoping for consistent and/or logical characterization, it's...not terrible. *sigh*

It's not even like S1 was honestly that good, now that I think about it. But at least it was consistent. I got the feeling that the writers knew where they were going, and were at least basically convinced that their own instincts were good ones. Now...I can just tell that they're playing to the fans, and obviously so.

It really is totally different, which I don't like, precisely because it's so inconsistent. That always drives me crazy as does bad characterization. Honestly, how hard is that?

Nut which fans? Not us obviously, since they're doing the exct opposite of what we want.
