Shit. This is either going to be incredibly great or doomsday. I've been dreading this day for so long. I'm scared. Last time I was hopeful and look what happened.
Man, I do not envy you being in the UK if McCain is elected. Hopefully you've been treated kindly so far, but I wouldn't be surprised if you caught flack he wins.
Why would I catch any flack? I'm Puerto Rican/Mexican. I've got a US accent, but people here don't assume anything by that. The first question is always "Where are you from?". I've actually had the opposite experience after I explain the shitty situation the US had Puerto Rico in.
Pues he escrito 600 palabras. No he escrito nada hoy hasta ahora porque desperte muerta por este catarro y luego tuve clase. Voy a seguir ahora.
That sucks. I've heard about that, but at least the people in my college are very welcoming. They better; one of their majors is US Area Studies. There are more Brits interested in US history than you'd think. Although I don't know what they'd think of someone who admitted to being a Republican.
Heh. I am more annoyed that they delayed Heroes because of it.
Anyways, I don't have a say who is elected because I live in Canada. I don't really feel conserned now, even if the result will have a certain effect up here.
But I'll admit that what will happen after elections might be intersting.
Hum... will the U.S.A be better or worse after all this?
I think it is pre-elections talks and debates. Those T.V shows where specialists and statisians are invited to reflect over the future and all that jazz.
I find that American elections are really long! Here in Canada they were only for like barely 2 months. And nothing changed.
I really want to be optimistic about the American future but it is not that easy about all the crap that goes on this word.
On a side note, sometimes I find it ironic that U.S.A is seen as a country of freedom for people that come from any other country but that the people living there can also be such racists. (Also in reference of some interviews I saw where people did't want Obama because he is black)
They really are. I'm sick of before they're halfway through. Wow, only two months? That sounds wonderful.
Racism and sexism run rampant there. The Land of Freedom thing is just propaganda. Some people didn't want Hillary because she's a woman and supposedly women are too emotional. Fuck that.

I don't want to jinx anything, though, and I'll just say it's going to be close, either way, and you know what? Life goes on. Either way.

¿qué tal te salió el ensayo?
No me acuerdo si PUerto Rico pertenece a Estados Unidos, o es igual que Cuba que no pertenece a ningún pais.
Mira que los americanos son exagerados casi un año dando la lata con las elecciones.

I suppose so. But I'm still a little freaked out.

I don't have a say either since I'm in London and I didn't even think of absentee voting. Although I lost my Illinois voting card years ago.
Depends greatly on who wins. I'm really hoping that we stay away from the badness.
