So tired

I went to bed at 3 instead of 4 last night so I've been yawning the whole day. Damn, I'm tired. I would have gone to bed earlier, but I had to be stupid and start downloading the Complete Recordings of The Return of the King at 1:30 since the internet was finally working right, then I paused it and tried to resume now, but it ain't working. Crap. I emailed Amazon and I really hope they give me the downloads, cause I paid for them.

I was going to take a nap, but got stuck in the House marathon on USA. Previous to this weekend, I'd only watched two episodes of it since all the medical stuff really icks me. I've had a fear of doctors and medical anything my whole life, so I never watch medical dramas. But House is so funny. He's so delightfully grouchy and petty. And as I just find out right this second, can play the guitar. Cool! And House and Wilson are so cute! Breaking into someone's house = perfect date. *snort*

I may or may not go out with my friends tomorrow. we're supposed to go down to the fair either tomorrow or on Tuesday.

I was going to say something else but I forgot. I hate it when that happens.

This is certainly true. But I'm not sure I'd want to be on the receiving end on a regular basis. Although...well, if it were Claude I would. House is a little meaner, if less likely to throw you off a building.

In Claude's case, he might find it a little frustrating cause I'd be grinning all the time. House is just downright cruel at times, but when he cares it's so sweet. Especially since he won't admit he cares and is all mopey and pouty lipped.

Hee. True. I think I might spend most of my time in Claude's presence staring, blushing, giggling, or some combination of all three.

House does have his moments of sweetness, but they're quite few and far between. I don't know how Wilson puts up with him, beyond the rather obvious fact that they're in love.

Have you seen the episode where he treats a woman stuck in the South Pole? She asked Wilson why she puts up with him when he's so nice, unless he's not really that nice.It was an interesting conversation.

I know that, officially, we've met one (we, as in, the viewing audience) at least, and there was the one he was with at when the series began, that he was cheating on with a cancer patient, so it's at least two. But yeah, he's not the best husband ever, Wilson. And not really that good a doctor, apparently.

I don't know how much House you've seen (I haven't seen any of the new episodes myself), but I love it when he buys the motorcycle for the first time. Wilson tricks him into having dinner with his parents, and then promises to call it off if House will pay him back some money he'd borrowed, and then tells him that he was lying, and had been lying to him in slightly bigger increments for a while, starting with telling him he looked good unshaven. I'm not doing it justice, but it's a hilarious Wilson moment.

I've just seen a few from the marathon and I have no idea what seasons those are. I saw a couple when Cameron and rhe British guy were on his team, but mostly from when he does that "long job interview".

Oh my god, I've got to see that. Manipulative Wilson is so awesome.

*laughs* He's Australian! Poor Chase. I have a lot of fondness for Chase and his poor little rich boy self. Cameron, not so much.

Manipulative Wilson is right up there with Manipulative Peter in awesome for the unexpectedness value. Having looked it up, it's from the episode "Daddy's Boy", which is the fifth episode of the second season.

*considers a moment* Well, that's embarrassing. In my defense, it's been 11 years since I went to Australia and I hardly ever hear it. *sheepish smile* I think I'm trying too hard to identify British accents lately. That's why I couldn't figure it out. It's like when I expect to hear English but it's actually Spanish. For the first couple of seconds, I hear gibbersih.

Chase is cool. Cameron bugs me half the time.

It's always so much more amusing when it comes completely out of left field. I'll have to see that episode.

Chase is kind of quiet and not exactly moral, but he's got his own snarky streak and it comes out at the most wonderful times.

It really is. It's a good episode, if a very sad one.

True. Very true. Though when I was there, there was a movement among the younger generation to get rid of their ties with Britain.

I want to see more of him. He intrigues me.
