Just how many networks are there online anyway?

I've already got three of them (actually, I think it's more) but people keep dragging me into these things. I am now part of something called LinkedIn, which feels weird since it's a professional networking site and I don't have a job. The cousin who invited me does have a job and what you might call a career, but why she felt the need to include me here, who knows. Oh well. I will need a career soon enough, anyway, and as long as it's free, I don't care. But it's kinda weird when the setting keep asking me if I want to receive requests for references for coworkers and I've never had coworkers. Not unless you count my course mates who I've suffered essays with. Doesn't count, huh?

I finally started catching up with Heroes. I'm just missing 1961 and I'm done until tonight's episode. I'm liking it so far, but Danko really, really made me want to throw something. And Matt keeps doing stupid stuff. Again. and I feel really shallow, but damn Peter's hot. It's a little distracting. But at least he's learned not to trust his family. Which is sad, but considering the family...

I saw people today! And spoke to them! It's the first conversation I've had since I've been back. I can't believe I actually miss classes. I need to go to the library more often. That's the only time my classmates see each other anymore. :(

I do have a job and a career and this LinkedId is still useless where I live.

I have LJ, Facebook, LinkedId (almost none), Blogspot (rare) and a message board.

The latter will be minimized though.

Yeah, the only one I still remember my password for and have used since high school is facebook, and even that bores me.

Woo, Heroes! I think I'm one of the few people who genuinely liked 1961 and I kind of have a strange fondness for Danko but I hope you're enjoying things. Such as Peter's hotness. Despite Matt...well, he's not being stupid so much as desperate, in my mind. But yeah. (Speaking of did you see those pictures of him from a couple of days ago? these (http://justjared.buzznet.com/2009/04/20/milo-ventimiglia-heroes-for-autism/#more-300931)? I wish he'd use less product, but better than I thought given the haircut news).

Is it a US focused thing then? I haven't looked through it yet. There's nothing I would use in it at the moment, though I suppose soon enough maybe. Except that I doubt that the cousin I want to use as a connection is on it since she's bad with the internet. I'm surprised she's even on Facebook.

I've got LJ (the first one), Facebook because my PR friends begged me to get it, Twitter because I was bored and wanted to keep up with the Heroes's actors funky antics, and a couple of other things I signed on for and have never used. I resisted MySpace during the craze.

I don't like Facebook. I just can't get into it. The thing is, I like LJ, and the Fb format just doesn't doesn't work for me. I even hate uploading pictures.

I'm still missing 1961 though I just got it on my hardrive. I'll watch it before the discussion post tonight. 3x20 was amazing, though. Everyone one Twitter was saying it and it's so true. But Daphne! Oh Daphne. Why is it the ones I like that get killed? Why? And Matt was just driving me crazy with the 'eye for an eye' thing. Don't shoot her, Matt, shoot him. Please. Except don't, because them you'd really go to jail and hate yourself forever and I like you. Poor guy. about Milo's hair... *sigh* That right there is the haircut I hate the most in the world. Either have it all short or all long, not both. Now I want to grab some scissors and cut the rest of.

Yeah, the Daphne stuff was wrenching. But at least she got a good send off. Poor Matt is just going through so much at the moment that I'm willing to cut him a little slack (plus I was pretty sure he wouldn't have killed her). But that he even got so close to doing it... Hee. I think if he leaves it alone until, um, July (I think that's when they start filming again?) it might be acceptable. I think.

I knew he wasn't going to kill her, either, but it was heartbreaking to see like that. I kept going,"No, don't do it! You're better than that!" ... I hope so. Though July is so close.

Apparently you can "facebook stalk" people. And look at their pictures. I guess. Yeah, pictures of drunk college kids have nothing on some nice Plaude porn, so livejournal definitely gets my vote.

Yeah, you know he's going to regret all this. And probably is already, now that he has seemingly regained the will to live. Well, it's about two and a half months, right? I'm sure it'll look...better by then. It took him a while to grow it back into how adorable it is on the show now, but maybe by the end of next season it'll get there again.

Oh god. Yeah, I don't like that random people can look at pictures of me just because I'm tagged in them. strikeMmm, Plaude porn. I'e got to write me some of that.

The kid did give him a whole new motivation. I still don't like having a baby on my show, though. I get enough of them in real life. And Ando can't make the face forever. I mourn the hair. It was so perfect! I want to pet it. Then ruffle it. Then pet it again.

Seriously. And the minute you're tagged in a photo, you get emails anytime someone comments on it. Yay! We need some new stuff.

He's not that bad, as far as babies go. He gave Hiro his power back, sorta, and we got the hilarious Ando face from it, so... The hair is precious. I could watch him tuck it back for hours, it's the most endearing thing in the world.

Yeah, that's true. Powered Hiro is nice. And it's funny how he has to cart people around since he can't teleport. I love the hair so much. I literary cannot stop looking at it whenever he comes on. He's really distracting.

No, they're usually incredibly mundane stuff and I have a friend who has to take so many pictures every time we go out. Because otherwise no one will believe she has friends, I guess. *sigh* Well, any fic is better than no fic. Even if it is without porn.

That was hilarious. All I could think was how much fun Masi and James and Greg must've had during all those scenes where Masi has to cart people places. *dreamy sigh* Yes, Peter's hair may just be what I like best about him. And I can see the distraction factor.

I take tons of pictures, but never of people. I'm just not interested in taking pictures of people. I prefer buildings. and trees. And marauding squirrels. It's not that Peter doesn't want to, but he's struggling just to keep Claude in the same room with him.

They do look like hilarious scenes to film. Though how they kept so perfectly still, I can't figure. There's just something about the hair. It's so powerful.

I would totally take pictures of marauding squirrels. When I travel I do like to get pictures of whatever it is that's interesting, but I never bother to get a picture of myself being there. Just seems pointless. Excuses, excuses. Like Claude doesn't want to be in the same room with him.

Especially once they're in the wheelbarrow/chair (that was how Hiro rolled Matt away, right?). It's just so smooth and silky looking. And about the perfect color too. Like chocolate.

I've recently been bitten by the photography bug and now I see potential pictures everywhere. I've actually started building a portfolio, not that I know what I'm doing yet since I only have this no frills camera. It doesn't even have zoom. I'm getting a new one, though. Well, it is designed as a prequel to the novel, so nothing can happen.

Hee. I love the wheelbarrow. Though it must be pretty disorienting to suddenly be someplace completely different. I could brush my hands through it for hours. Give it a little nuzzle.

That sounds pretty cool. I wish I had any kind of eye for that kind of thing; sometimes I'll end up with good pictures completely randomly, but usually...not so much. *sigh* Fine...I know I should go back to my longish fic I've been neglecting, but...I've been neglecting it for a reason. Mostly that I'm stuck on it.

Th wheelbarrow had me in stitches. Especially with Hiro having to carry baby Matt Parkman in that little...pouch thing. Yeah, ever since I read/saw Watchmen, I'm convinced that like Laurie, I too would end up vomiting if I had to get teleported anywhere. Just the disorientation alone must mess with your brain so much. Hee, Peter looks like the type to be up for nuzzling.
