I've just spent half my morning at the True Blood comms wondering why Alan Ball is projecting Kring. Disjointed storylines that have nothing to do with each other, boring new characters, people acting stupid, series creator pissing off the fans (and while screwing up the original source material, which is even worse), finding more things to critise than to praise, sick and twisted characters considered to be redeemable (Bill needs to die and he needs to die now), etc. Why, TV gods, why?
That's the second night in a row that the internet has decided to stop working after midnight. I wake up the next day and it's fine. And it's not my computer. The other ones in the house aren't picking it up, either, which means either the modem goes on a leave of temporary insanity for no reason at all or the internet people are interrupting the service, which doesn’t make any sense, either. One night is a believable (albeit extremely infuriating) anomaly, but two? Within the same time frame? I don't know whether to wait one more night to see if it happens again or to tell my grandfather now (he's not even awake when the internet freezes, so he's completely unaffected).

I hate being without internet. I feel like I've been marooned in a deserted island.

ETA: Oh, and for extra fail, Comcast has decided that some of out channels now need a digital enhancement thing, which I would understand if we still had the old tvs, but the message showed up over five times on my cousin's brand new flatscreen. What. The. Hell?
