The last couple of days have been both busy and yet not as much as they should have been. I posted the first chapter of my Sherlock fic, Awakenings, and have been working on new scenes while editing chapter 2. I also started jotting down some ideas for my adaptation. I even bought a pocket-sized notebook for the purpose. I haven't taken down handwritten notes in so long I fear I may have forgotten how to read my own handwriting, which has always been disastrous. I put spaces in the middle of words, then string words together. It's bad.

I had my last Intro to Voiceover class of the year yesterday. We're on winter break until the 5th of January, during which I have to create a character voice and practice the hell out of ad copy because I still sound so unenthusiastic about the product. Today I have rehearsal for my theater class, and I still don't know my lines. Although I'm not sure if I'm required to know the lines for this scene since I'm subbing for someone who dropped out. I know the lines for my original scene. But I still need to flesh out some more character analysis. I also have homework during the break for that class. I have write a monologue.

Meanwhile, I'm, as always, behind on my reading. I'm almost done with Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, but I really need to pick up the pace. Checking out the Patrick Melrose books from the library will not help. That series destroyed me, but I cannot stop thinking about it.
