I'm in the weirdest mood right now

I feel... floaty. Giggly, chirpy, and light. Weee! No, I am not drunk. Guess what I did, though. I read ten pages of a novel! A novel. Not a history book, but a real, genuine non academic language, delightful, flowing, meandering, exhilarating prose. It's given me quite a buzz. Just from reading ten pages. Damn, I needed that.

1500 words left on the beast. I don't know if I'm going to manage that many, but I better, cause that count is 500 words less than the max, which I don't want to get too close to.

Listening to the Elizabeth soundtrack. It's quite inspirational. Lots of story ideas buzzing.

I really think I might only manage 1000 unless I go into stuff that isn't directly relevant to my subject, which isn't good. I should have asked how far below the 12000 words mark we're allowed to go. And the professors kept saying how we would be struggling to keep the word count down. Bah.
