That's a relieved "ah", by the way. I can breathe! I have news! I got out of the house! To the porch, which is right next to my window, and I only lingered for half an hour before going back in, but that's not the point.

Right, there are other news. I love my family. Okay, that's not the news, but I had to say it. It looks like I might be lingering in this country for a bit. I'm still not sure about the exact location, since this particular cousin lives in Atlanta, but I'm getting ahead of myself. It appears that my grandmother has already spoken to my cousin about my future job situation and my other cousin (her sister) is setting up a company of unspecified purpose (she also works with her husband, who's a music producer, but I have no idea what she does even though it took her three full minutes to explain it to me because it's that confusing) since my grandmother didn't understand the details, but the word "television" was somewhere in the vague description. So, needless to say I'm a shoe-in. I have no idea what this is about, but they have connections like whoa. Why didn't my grandma tell me about this earlier? She only told me about it today because she brought up my dad trying to get a job before I was born, I started bemoaning my job situation.

*sinks back with a smile on her face*

Right. So that's that. But first the conclusion to this essay. Which must be written. Today.

Congratulations, that's awesome! And I'm sure you'll enjoy Atlanta, I hear it's lovely. The WHO is Atlanta. And one of the cutest boys I know is from there; he's a Republican, it's true, but boy, is he gorgeous. Mmm, where was I? Oh, that's right: congratulations!

Thanks! I mean, I still don't know what exactly is going on since I have to talk to my cousin, but it is a huge step up. I would like to stay living here rather than in Atlanta if those are the two options since the family I'm really close to is here and I see them so little as it is, but my other cousin worked with her for years and she just flew in and flew back.

Flying back and forth would be cool too. You'd get to fly! And Georgia does, I think, have mountains, so if you've been missing those...;D

I can take the train, too, right? I much prefer trains to planes, or rather to airports. But hell, right now I wouldn't mind at all. Does it? Yay! I've been daydreaming about Scottish and Welsh mountians this whole week.

Oooh, that's true, but I think it would take longer. Yup, I believe the Blue Ridge mountains are down there. I've been around the Maryland side, they're nice.

I don't mind as long as there's no rush. Traveling by train is far superior than taking a plane. No security checks on domestic (at least in the UK), no seatbelts, no turbulence, no being stuck on the tarmac for hours, what delays there are don't take anywhere near as long as in an airport, I can pick my seat, get in the train 2 minutes before it leaves, get out the second it comes in, plug in my laptop... Okay, I'm going to stop before I sound like that article/ad in the Virgin Trains magazine. I just totally fell in love with trains this last month.

I'll agree that trains in England (and Europe in general) are pretty good and superior to domestic air travel. But in the US...eh. They're not terrible, but no where near as fun, either.

*frowns* Well, the commuter train to Chicago is alright. I just don't like the whole flying thing. I always feel like cattle. It takes all my willpower to stay calm and not snap at someone.

Thank you! It's still up in the air until I talk to my cousin to find out what exactly is going on, but hey, it's something.
