My nephew came over and fixed it. It was the router not recognizing the new modem, like I thought.

Also, I see that someone has opened a Heroes fandom secrets com. I'm not sure I want to look at it because so many of my opinions differ from the majority of fandom. It tends to put me in a bad mood. My policy lately has been to stick to the corners of fandom that share my key opinions and where I can have intelligent discussions about the others, not wank, and let the rest of fandom do whatever it wants to do.

I think with any fandom it's hard not to wank just a little bit. Still it has been my experience that fanboys/frangirls, like the pack of ravenous wolves they are will leap in for the kill if you do not automatically love or hate what the majority of them love or hate. So I get why you would stay to the corners.

I joined the community because some of the posts are actually pretty funny, but it's not for everyone. :)

Fandoms will wank. That's inevitable, but i do try to steer clear of it as much as possible. It's more fun that way for me.

Every once in a blue moon I'll glance through [livejournal.com profile] fandomsecrets and will find something amusing, but it's not enough to hold my attention.

Yay! The computer woes are at an end!

Eh, I don't think I want to keep up with Heroes!secrets. Like you, there's a reason I stay in our lovely little corner of fandom. It's weird and whiny out there. Although, I did check out the first batch- looked like about 90% Sylar/ZQ secrets to me. Yawn.

Finally! It's been driving everyone nuts.

I tried, but most of them annoyed me. This is so not my thing.
