My doings

--reading a biography of Christopher Marlowe (or Merlin, or Marlin or Marlinge in this 'we don't do spelling rules' age). It's kinda interesting reading about a time when being a scholar was considered cool. Where did those good, old days go? Although I gotta say, a 16th century curriculum sounds really boring.

--finishing up the first draft of a story for a submission. It looks like I'll actually make it between the word limit this time. Yay!

--going from skimming through a depressing (but wonderful) novel I've read before to reading another depressing novel. Not good.

--being sad at the big Heroes spoiler, though I knew that had to happen sooner or later.

--also being sad because I missed Modern Family. *cries* I've been looking forward to it all day and now I missed it. I know I can catch it online later, but... :(

--wondering if I should watch some past episodes but my grandfather’s going to bed and uproarious laughter might be a little too loud.

Wait, what? What spoiler? Do I want to know and will it destroy me?

Also, I feel you about the scholars thing. I just finished Jude the Obscure and the poor guy spent so much time and effort wanting to go to college and I'm like..."Wow. I totally just did all of my homework for a class about fifteen minutes before I had to turn it in. Shame on me."

I can't wait to watch the new episode of Modern Family. I keep telling myself I'll switch to that instead of Glee because on the whole I do like it better, but...Glee. It has songs. And cute characters.

It's the Adrian Pasdar one. I'm just so sad that he's leaving. I know they already killed Nathan so it was bound to happen sooner or later, but Peter's going to cry and it's going to be horrible and it does vex me that they're choosing Sylar over him, because Nathan has much more potential as a character and this is the Sylar fan talking.

I get that. I always feel a little bad when I hear about someone working day and night for the chance to go to college and here I am complaining about how boring physics class is.

Apparently we didn't have a new episode. :( The songs are actually what's keeping me away from Glee. Even when I was little, I fastforwarded through the musical segments of Disney movies. They're just not my thing.

I thought I'd let you know... Modern Family wasn't on tonight. ABC was airing the country music awards or whatever. So, nothing to worry about :)

It's the one about Adrian Pasdar leaving. I honestly rather that it was ZQ who was leaving by this point, since Sylar keeps repeating himself. And Peter is going to be so sad!
