I can't get used to this. Sure, in London by four it was already black, but it should not be dark at five. I don't care what spot of the planet I'm on. This never stops feeling weird. I need to get earlier. I get like four hours of sunshine now. So wrong.

After two days of not writing more than 300 words, I finally wrote 2,000 today, although I'm still really distracted. And now my shoulder blades hurt. Ow.

I also went out with my cousin and his son yesterday to watch 2012 (and buy socks). Yes, it's a big, splashy Hollywood movie and I spent half the time thinking "That's impossible. Oh, c'mon!", but it's fun! Although, seriously, how is Roland Emmerich going to top this one? He destroyed the entire world (except for Africa)! I do find it interesting and not at all coincidental that Africa is the only continent to survive and not only because of the Cradle of Life thing. Emmerich is not past making social commentary in the details of his movies. He did it in The Day After Tomorrow. If the African continent never flooded (and it looked intact, too), then wouldn't it be so hilarious interesting if these heads of state from formerly powerful nations that no longer exist (might as well dissolve it and form a new government) had to beg for help from the continent they have been leeching from for centuries? I'm probably reading way too much into this, but it's still funny.

I almost forgot about Heroes! Again! I'm not sure I want to watch this episode. *shields Peter's eyes* I am way too attached.

Yeah, it's crazy, I have a class that ends at 4:45; when I go into it, it's light out, and when I leave, it's already dark. That just feels...wrong.

Also: I don't think Peter finds out about the thing until next episode. So he may yet have some happy moments in this episode?

My cousin has the same problem. It's not fun.

I hope so.
