Why is there stuff in the pantry that expired in 2007?

Really, grandma, why?! And why are they all unopened? She buys stuff and never uses them. Sauces, dressings, cheese whip. Why she even bought cheese whip since no one eats it, I don't know. That's the 2007 one. There's a bottle of French dressing that's black. I could use this stuff as poison. What the hell?

Apparently I need to go buy food right this second before the freezing rain comes in. *tries to laugh but ends in tears* Why? Why didn't my grandparents stay in California when they came from Mexico? Why?
