I'm still alive. But the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind and the World Cup have eaten my brain to the point that I have to remind myself that the computer exists. I didn't mean to take a hiatus from LJ. It just happened. Honestly, right now my brain is a mess of "Whoohoo!" and "Argh" acompanied by a bunch of incoherent flailing and a completely lack of will power to do anything productive. Football!! Whoo!! See? Three to four games a day will do that to a person.

I haven't seen the new True Blood. It's that insane.

Yeah, sorry about that. I am becoming quite a big football fan, so the Cup has taken over my life. We're all watching as many games as we can either live or on my aunt's Tivo, because 6:30 am is too early to have a first game at (considering that it's 1:30pm in South Africa, they could have put those first two games on a little later). Why is he annoyed? Mexico won! Whoohoo! Although my second team, England, is one of the worst in the Cup, so I'm pretty miffed at that and Kaká's expulsion yesterday was insane, but overall it's going good. I should stop now before I descend further into football madness. We're all football happy around here.

With these and the books, I haven't written properly since who knows when, which makes me feel guilty. And then there are translations that need doing. It's nuts.

My father feels that the matchups are weird and don't allow for much scoring and/or real nice game playing. But yeah, I think he should just be glad Mexico's doing so well. 2:0 against what, France? That's a good score. England just makes me laugh; tying with the US just because of that stupid goal, oh god.

Yeah, see, at least you've been doing something. I have been doing...nothing much at all.
