Instead of going to a film shoot, I got some extremely needed sleep. I got the worst case of insomnia in years two nights ago. I think I slept three hours, at most. So there's another squandered opportunity. Every night before a film shoot, my insomnia kills me. I hate it. I was so happy to finally get some rest that I didn't care, though. Although I'm still sleep deprived, but at least I could function.

As a consolation prize, I got to watch the game live, but five minutes before it started, I heard that another family pet has died. One of my cousin's dogs, Cosmo. I've known that little guy since he was a puppy. He was old and one of his back legs really hurt and he's been subdued since the other dog died last year, so it's surprising, but still. It wasn't until the second goal that I finally got into the game. It's just too sad. So now we're all down because of that.

And now I'm reading about vampires and Baba Yaga and freakiy mythological creatures and yearning for the new episode of Trueblood to come out already because I really need a distraction before I start crying over poor Cosmo. The Netherlands better win tomorrow. I can't handle more depressingness. Once I'm sad, even little things will make it worse.

Sleep is awesome!

The Netherlands is (are?) awesome as well!

I'm sorry about your cousin's dog. It's kind of awful once they get really old and are in pain.

I finally had energy! Then the period came today, so the energy is gone again. :(

Sadly, they lost. I don't know what it is about Spain. Their playing is lackluster, yet they make good teams so nervous that they forget how to play right. It makes no sense.

Thanks. It's just going to be so weird to go to her house and not see him there. But he was in a lot of pain at the end. *sigh*

I'm so sorry about your cousin's pet. It's always heartbreaking to lose a dog. *hug*

Thanks. I feel better about it now, but it's going to take me a while to get used to not having him greet me at the door.
