Random White Collar observations

1. Neal is too beautiful for words, but that goes without saying.
2. Peter has the most adorable facial expressions. He's so sweet. When that black widow bought him at the bachelor auction, he looked so flattered that I just went, "Aww!" Such a dear.
3. I adore the relationship between Mozzie and El. They are such great buddies. The other day, I watched the episode where they first met and it was so amusing how at first El was nervous because all she knew about him was that he's a criminal (and, of course, Peter augmented the air of menace by being over-protective), yet at the end they were chatting so nicely and El gave Mozzie pâté while Peter was frowning at the two of them, clearly thinking, "What just happened?"
4. I love how Diana is immune to Neal's charms. She doesn't let him get anything past her.
5. Mozzie is love. I adore him so much. The way he calls Peter "the suit", and therefore El "Mrs. Suit", and steals Neal's wine and how protective he and Neal are of June. I just want to hug him.

I agree with all your points.

I've had some trouble with Moz earlier this season - but he's redeeming himself.

Mozzie's dogged insistence that Neal leave New York did bug me. His having to give up the treasure for Elizabeth was quite fitting, I think.

Yes - and he does have a backup plan.

I'm all for him having squirreled away a few bars of gold. Which would of course, kripke my epic fic.

Sneaking away some gold is practically obligatory.. Epic fic? *grins* I'm reading your selkie fic on my breaks from research and I'm adoring it so far.

What are you researching?

Fifteen century England and European folklore for a couple of novels I'm working on. Some of the folklore works very nicely with my Grimm fic.

I have some good resources on Scottish/Gaelic songs and lore, if you need.

One is a ridiculously complicated thing I'm not even sure how to explain. It involves identity crisis in the early Henrician era with four POV characters, which is a little crazy.

The other one, which is the one I'm focusing on right now, is still in the gestation period, but, so far, it's a werewolf story, only basing myself on medieval folklore, not modern literature and media. And it's original slash. No details are set in stone yet, but so far the werewolf is a former monk (partly to explain his bookish education, partly because he's got a thing for illuminated manuscripts) and the human he ends up with is a minstrel who has extrasensory perception.

That would be brilliant, thank you! I'm reading everything I can get my hands on. You never know where you can find a juicy detail for your story.
