Every once in a while, this big burst of wind will rush through the trees outside. I think I hear thunder, too. One thing, the wind may be cold, but it's nowhere near as bad as in Illinois where there are times when it will drag you and you have to find shelter against a building to keep from being snatched away. Today is completely different from yesterday. Right now, at 11 pm, my hands are actually hot. I've just changed from a long sleeved shirt into a 1/4 sleeves one. Yesterday I had three different things on. And I finally took a shower. Yay! I feel clean now.

I woke up with a scratchy throat and really didn't want to get out of bed in the morning (though that was mostly due to my mood), but I took some medicine and I feel better now, though now my eyes are starting to sting. Argh!

I've already spent $100 dollars worth of clothes. Most of it at H & M, which is the only store with reasonable prices in this city. There are so many wonderful clothes, stuff I never see back home, but it's so expensive! This is why I never bothered looking the first two times I came here, but now I'm living here and I need winter wear, so I have to. I'm actually considering spending $82 dollars on this one jacket, just because it's plaid and gorgeous and I live plaid and so many people here wear plaid pattered jackets and I want one, but the ones in H & M don't attract me the way this one does. Stupid London stores and their exorbitant prices.
