I am FREEZING

I need to take a shower. Like really, desperately. But I'm freezing my ass off. I wore three shirts plus my long jacket out today and a scarf and the high was 55. That did not feel like 55! The 50s here feel like 40s back in Chicago. In 60s, I just throw on a jacket over a short sleeve shirt and I'm fine. Over here I'm wearing a sweater and I'm shivering. The wind actually bites you. One of the reason I came over here was because it's supposedly not as cold as in Chicago. Sure, the official temperatures don't drop as low, but I'm wondering if there isn't something else going on because temp isn't necessarily linked to how cold or hot it feels. meanwhile, I'm coughing and I really need a shower. I haven't showered in three days. I have no idea when these people are going to finally turn the heater on because they wait until they're cold to do so and there are people on the street with rolled up sleeves. What the hell?


ETA: Fuck it, I'm taking a shower tomorrow. The low tonight is 40 and tomorrow it's 61/58, so it should be better. Why am I coughing so much?
