Apparently, it's not a big deal here, so I'm stuck in my room with not even Sleepy Hollow to watch, because I completely forgot about it when I was packing even though it's my usual Halloween ritual. I really wish I were home right now. This is my favorite holiday.

I'm trying to think of something to watch online, but then that gets me paranoid about the internet limit. I'm seriously considering dling Sleepy Hollow, but I'd rather not risk it and go for something shorter, but I really don't know.

I'm sure there's got to be something like a video store nearby where you could rent it, if not?

Unless the have Region 1 DVDs, it won't help me. I don't want to try switching the regions on the laptop for fear that it might get stuck that way. I'd had my computers do shitty stuff like that before.

Oh, completely forgot about that. I didn't even know you could switch regions on your laptop like that, although it doesn't surprise me. I mean, you could chance downloading it, but...yeah, that could be tricky.

Apparently you can switch it five times, but after that last time it gets stuck in the last selection.
The thing about the limit is that I have no idea how much 7 GB is. My whole real player video collection (which has a lot of eps of Alias) comes out to 3 point something GB. So I'm probably not using anywhere near as much as I could, but I'm not sure how to play it. I know I'm going to be downloading like crazy when I get home.

Huh. You learn something new every day.
Hmm, you probably could swing it then. How long is Sleepy Hollow, anyway?

105 minutes according to IMDB. But I'm also thinking of watching an episode of Dexter. I have one left to catch up in this season. I really miss having television.

I'm seriously considering getting a TV tuner for the computer, but I wonder if I could get cable channels. I really don't know how they work. I know my Dad used it to record the POTC movies from HBO. And I miss the Discovery/History channels. I like learning through a visual medium, too.
