It must be 2:30. AM. Yes, the birds in my neighborhood sing at 2 in the morning. I've never, ever heard one sing during the daytime here. But at night between 2:30 and 3 they're chatterboxes. It's like the roosters back home that almost exclusively crow after midnight.

Wow. Birds singing that early? In winter? Thank God it doesn't happen here. The earliest I hear birds sing is at 4h00 AM and in summer. Usually they don't wake me up but when my sleep is light or I wake up to drink water there is no way to go back to sleep again. So I lay there, half awake, pissed off, rambling in my head about a genocide of these creatures if they don't shut up. Eventually I fall asleep, but still, freaking birds. ROAR. And it is worse cause I have to wake up at 5h30AM to get ready for work.

Aw, that sucks. I love birds, so I rather enjoy hearing them sing. They don't sing for too long usually, though. Although I sorta had that problem back in my second year of college, although it was my own fault for going to bed at dawn. I did fall asleep eventually, but that's the only time in my life I haven't liked the sound of birds singing.
