*groan* Please tell me that's his nephew or something and not part of the show. I'm so tired of seeing babies on my favorite shows. Sorry, but I don't like kids under the age of nine. I'm just going to concentrate on the awesomeness of Ando on a motorcycle.
Heh, you wish. There's speculation about it being baby!Claire (because what they really need is to go back in time, again), baby Noah, or Matt's kid. Either way, it's probably a powered baby, because there are rumors of one showing up.
Oh, god, no. But Janice was pregnant with the other guy's baby, right? And what the hell do we need a powered baby for? Please tell me this isn't going to turn into that movie where babies were using martial arts.
You know, it's always a surprise to me how many people think that Janice was pregnant with the other guy's baby. I mean, yes, she did have an affair with him, and (apparently, because we didn't see it) said that it was the other guys, but just the fact that the kid was Matt's in the 5YG-verse and that Matt himself didn't seem sure it was true that it wasn't in his nightmare, plus the fact that Janice would have very compelling reasons to lie to him about it, always made me think it was Matt's and she just didn't want to deal with him and his weird behavior. But I always figured the writers at the very least were leaving the matter open in case they wanted to revisit it, which...they seem to have opted to do, given that she's coming back. I'm...kind of ambivalent on the powered baby thing, to be honest; on one side, it seems very much a "Ohh, look, a cute baby! Forget the rest of the crappy storylines!" ploy, but on the other, I find it kind of interesting in terms of how the powers are developing. It could potentially lead to a good storyline. Of course, given the track record, it seems unlikely that it will, but it's not really bothering me that much. Yet.
Well, I suppose. I guess that after the whole Matt/Daphne fated love thing, bringing her back now with Matt-s baby would seem like a soap opera.
The thing is, due to my particular bias, I find it extremely difficult to like storylines centered around babies. I get enough of them in real life. I don't want them shoved in my face in my entertainment.
Oh, yeah. You know what I thought immediately after seeing this? Claude on a motorcycle with a cool leather jacket and a wicked gleam in his eye. And Peter getting on behind him. I think I'd just die of happiness if I ever saw that. I've got to write that now. Maybe I can fit it into the epic.
