I'm officially ill

I keep clearing my throat, I have too much saliva in my mouth, and I'm using way too much Kleenex. Oh, and then there's the random coughing. Damnit! I was doing so well. And right before I have to start writing an essay, too.

Some random Heroes thoughts on the last episode:

OMG, Peter is being totally amazing this season! The flying, the last minute rescues, not killing Danko, landing on that car as Noah was about to take off, uttering a stern, "Hi."I think Pete might have actually pulled off being badass right there.

Damn, Dank really does look puny next to HRG. Like seriously tiny. I'm getting such a kick out of that.

"How'd you get here so fast?" Yes, Danko, how did Nathan get there so fast? Think, dummy, think.

Angela is fantastic! I love that woman. Totally love that woman. I really want her to be Rebel.

The Matthinder slashyness in this episode is through the roof. I may get into the pairing yet.

Is it just me or does the last scene look like total crack? Between Matt painting the future (so never going to get used to that) and the new explosion painting (in DC this time for more political drama), the whole thing felt too surreal.

That was probably my favorite non-Plaude-related Peter moment ever. So...cool. Understated, which I like.

Plus he was all windswept! It was hilarious. I think he may have figured it out; wasn't he talking to Noah about something (someone?) being compromised?

Angela is awesome personified.

And I'm kind of wary about the political drama (it's like people with actual medical training not being able to watch House without freaking out a little), but overall, I really liked this episode.

The GN that's out now is also fantastic, btw.


ETA: I knew I forgot something. I'm sorry you're sick; it's always the way though, isn't it? Right when you have a ton of work to do, it's when illness really tends to hit.

I just watched that part again, like, oh, three times. I'm the binge type.

Was he? I must have missed that part. I've got watch this thing again.

As a history student, I'm freaking out all the time, so I'm used to it.

I have to look at that. But alas, finishing this reasearch must come first. I can't believe it's Tuesday already.

I know. I hate it, I don't feel too bad now, but I know it'll get worse and soon. *shakes fist at nasty germs*

Nathan? Yeah, I think his hair was significantly mussed up. As for Danko, I think he's getting more and more suspicious given the fact that Nathan has a brother and a daughter, both with powers.

Well, at least they don't venture into the past that much. Only completely screwing over Japanese history, really.

Heh, I can't believe it's almost March! That's crazy talk.

Well, hopefully you'll get the paper done before it fully hits? Which'll suck in terms of the relaxation factor you always want a chance at when you finish something big, but...better than trying to finish something big while deathly ill.

I watch pieces, yet hardly ever the whole episode because there are always some characters/scenes I'm not interested in.

I just saw it now. He couldn't have smoothed it back for appearance's sake? Definitely suspicious. Although, he was the only one in that family born without powers.

I was actually glad while that was going on that I didn't know anything about Japanese history, because the people in my flist who did were pissed. Although in any case, I did that foreigners were not allowed to go wandering around willy nilly. That still bugs me. Nothing to compare to POTC, though. Oh my god. That's just bad, and I'm a huge fan.

I still have one book to skim through, then I need to organize, and then I can start writing, but since I haven't written any fic today (I get vicious withdrawal if I don't write every day), there's not going to be any time left to start writing the essay. Plus, I seem to have trouble concentrating on like, sentences. Damn, stupid cold thing. There's a bug going around. I just realized that I've been hearing an awful lot of coughing here lately. I hate this dorm.

Agreed on all Heroes-related counts. Especially Angela and Matthinder. I would love it so, so much if Angela was Rebel- visiblemarket and I were talking about it, and we think there's probably more than one person involved. How cool would it be if Angela gathered up a bunch of former-Company agents with powers? Danko and Nathan wouldn't stand a chance.

I think it might be more than one person, too. We do know that Angela's forming a resistance movement with at least one former agent. Maybe the Haitian is in on it, too. I want him back. With a name. The poor man needs a name. And I want Danko and Nathan to go down so badly.
