Just finished watching all the released episodes of the new anime. I like it (thus far; we’ll see what they do later)! Kimbley looks kickass! And Envy has his dark hair! Not that god-awful, fern-looking green they gave him last time. *bounces*

The anime/manga bug is starting to bite again. Crap. Now I have Heroes, Tolkienverse, and Hagaren plus possible others all at once! It's too much! *runs around in circles*

Meanwhile, I have my first exam tomorrow and have studied too much for it. Next up will be the Politics exam which I've ironically studied too little for even though it's the one I've spent most time on.

Last night during my lightbulb deprivation, I watched this fan made film named The Hunt for Gollum. It's pretty decent, especially for something low-budget. The style is completely copied fom Peter Jackson, even down to the font they use for the credits, but I'm not complaining. There's a scene where Gollum starts singing and it's so cute!

If only my friend's fan-made Tolkien parody was online so I could link you to it! It's fantastic. He spent 3 years making this epic 2.5-hour LotR spoof where all the locations are places on my campus. It's one of the best things I've ever seen. :) I'm proud to be running around in the background during parts of it, which was essentially my only contribution to the making of the film.

I like anime all right, but I never got as obsessed with it as I expected to when I came to college. What ones do you like?

Omg, that sounds amazing. LOTR spoofs are so much fun. This reminds me of my old days in fandom when I spent my time reading parodies instead of studying.

I never got into it until a couple of years ago because I hated it when I was little, but then one friend forced a Fullmetal Alchemist manga into my hand and I was sold. My favorite anime is Samurai Champloo, but I also liked Last Exile, Tokyo Godfathers, and thre's a bunch of other ones but it's been a while. I prefer manga, though, so I pay more attention to that side of things. My absolute favorite is FMA, but I also love Saiyuki and Black Cat. I used to read Bleach, but it got repetitive after a while. How about you?

Haha, I used to watch "Sailor Moon" when I was little, until my mom stopped letting me because she thought it was sexist. Since college, I've watched about half of Fullmetal Alchemist, a few episodes here and there of Ayashi no Ceres and Fruits Basket, and part of a series called Gilgamesh which I chose myself and quite liked, but we stopped getting the DVDs from Netflix for some reason (I think the rest of my group of friends wasn't that into it). One of my friends is introducing me to Cowboy Bebop right now, so that should be fun too. I haven't read much manga, so I can't really rule on that front. :)
