So I feel like I have to ask. What's the deal with this dreamwidth business, anyway? What benefits does it provide that LJ doesn't?

Honestly, I can't tell you. The people who know about code and html keep going on and on about how cool certain technical things are, but since I have no clue about that, I have no idea what they're talking about. It's supposed to be a lot like LJ, but with some improvements. I haven't had time to check it out, really. I'm using it mainly for backup so far since it has this very handy Import tool.
